February 19, 2018, as cheesy as it is, was the day my life changed.  Ariel came into our lives at 3:51pm on a Monday afternoon. She was tiny and perfect and came with 6 pounds 3.4 ounces of emotions and love I had no idea I was capable of. To say it was the best day of my life is complicated. First snow of the year! Ariel doesn’t know what to think about her snow jacket. 🤣
Little pink nose from a chilly Autumn walk 🍁
Fun fact: Japan does not observe Daylight Savings. This means our evening walks have turned into late afternoon walks before sunset at 5pm 🤣 But can you believe the color on the trees right now? I’m fully expecting to wake up to snow in the next couple weeks...and I cannot wait.
I want to remember these moments forever. This age (almost 9 months) has been my absolute favorite. Seeing her personality shine and watching her learn something new every day is the best. Now can she just stay this age forever??
Last time enjoying Japanese seasonal drinks! ❤️ 💚 I think the Christmas season gets earlier and earlier because the world is filled with such pain that we crave the joy of Christmas and the Advent season to help take us away for a moment.
